what race suit

hello,hoping to race next year and need to know what kind of race suit i need to buy,if anyone has one for sale i need a 46 chest,may be a bit more after christmas ! many thanks sean armstrong.

Hi i took a chance with my suit bought on ebay, but if you take a look at Demon Tweeks or Jeggs that will give a good idea.
There are a small number of suits for sale on Eurodragster/jeff bull left side of latest news page.
Buy a warm one you can always take it off and don the shorts if ever we have a heatwave.
What car do you hope to enter?

Do you know that you also need an approved helmet as a motorcycle helmet isn't any good!

Hi Sean,

I got mine from AWS racewear. He's always got a lot of stuff on Ebay, but his company contact details are on there and you can give them a ring direct and he'll make them custom to your size for no extra. Just quotes a week or so if it's not an off-the-shelf size you want. Great value and a nice comfy suit. I ordered mine and it turned up on the doorstep 2 days later and fitted like a glove, great service.

Just make sure it's SFI spec 3.2A/1 or 1986 FIA or better. Proban isn't acceptable any more.

There seems to be a great price difference between the UK and across the pond. I realise postage and taxes boost the actual price you pay as I have found shipping Camaro parts but it is still cheaper. I plan to get my suit from the States, as long as it meets SFI 3.2A/1 it should be ok?
Unless you guys know better????
