yep,team jacksons mot will be in the family camping along with nick gay and petch, nick and petch are i think doing a spot on the radio station over the weekend,,,,,come and have a beer with us if your staying over cant miss us we now have a 35foot winniebago and yes it does have a beer fridge outside for the evenings(cold beer steve)looking forward to seeing the car as we also have a 95 lt1 camaro

I'll be there with my cousin Dave on Thursday evening Paul, come say hello. We're in a White GMC Safari van with blue sideskirts and a caravan straight out of "carry on camping"
Is everyone pitching up over in the family camping area ? Whereabouts you gonna set up ? Denise is coming up on Saturday so I'll probably blag my way in to the family camping tomorrow and set up there if that's where we're all gonna be.

Okey Dokey, Dave & me'll try & elbow ourselves into the family area tomorrow and we'll spread out a bit & try and keep a space for us all. We'll try and get along from the entry/exit bit along the fence somewhere. When are you planning on getting there Ian ?Let's just hope the BBQ weather holds out !!

andy my manager is away on holiday due back in friday morning,hoping to get away some time friday,,,yeh barbi sounds good not to keen on this red strip stuff think i stick to fosters looking forward to it as still sitting up doing vat return as has to be in by weekend so beer all weekend sounds cool

Hi Guys , I'm all set up, as you come in to the family camping area I am on the left hand side about 50 yards down (white GMC day van). There are spaces either side of me at the moment. |

Wow, How muddy can a camp site get?????Now i know why you clever folk got into the family area. I assume you were not waterlogged down there?
The weekend was not that bad though. My namesake let me down ( Andy Carter).
All that noise and power has inspired me to crack on with The Pufferfishman. Application for licence will be post today, hopefully The car will be back in one piece by the weekend ( anybody know where I can get an aircon delete pulley for an LT1?. I will bash the credit card for helmet and suit. Hedtek seems a bargain ( unless you old hands know better). Just got to source a racesuit, boots and gloves. Next problem is getting my team pic and details on the Website. Damm technology!!!!

Yep, great weekend, great to catch up with everyone again and some great racing ( in between the down time !!).Paul, Those Hedtec helmets are OK, I have one of the open face ones and went through scrutineering fine. They're a little tight at first and need a little wear to settle the padding down, but I ordered the same size I used before and it fitted fine.
For suits, boots and gloves, I got mine from AWS racewear. He's always on Ebay or you can ring them direct, good stuff and reasonably priced. If you check his Ebay listings he usually has multiple stock at reduced prices.
Oh, and don't forget to bring a passport photo with you when you do your observed runs, you'll need to get Ian Marshall to sign the tear out card in your license pack blue book and he'll want to see a photo on that as well as your SPRC card.

A number of us have the Hedtec helmet, both open and closed face and they're fine.FIA spec fire suits obtained in the UK are about £200 more expensive than the equivalent SFI 3.2A/1 suit obtained from the US. Last month mine cost me $185 (including shipping) and arrived within a week.
