The Pufferfishman is still not ready to race! the engine runs fine after fitting my hybrid optispark unit. Unfortunately I gave the car a bit of a swift launch whilst at work and heard a horrible clunk from the rear. I jacked it up and found both springs are U/S also the nearside bump stop has perished away. The good news is I have my MSA licence, have joined SPRC. Just unsure of the next step. To this end I will be pestering you racers at Bugjam for info. I assume a few of you will be racing. If so let me know

Re: bugjam
It's always good to meet a potential newcomer and help them. As you saw, this weekend had more than its fair share of breakages!
Always feel free to post questions on this forum, at worst you’ll win the cock award, at best you’ll save yourself loads of dosh. The rule book is daunting and for our class there are loads of “Do I really have to ....” questions for which the answer is “Officially yes, but ...”. Sorting out what you really must do from what you can get away with requires the experience people on here have.
