I'd been working on a Capri bodied car for a while. I'd stripped
the engine and box out of my daily drive, and was beefing up the
suspension in preparation for a small block Chevy I'd bought. But then
I spotted another Capri for sale that already came with a small block
fitted, at a price I couldn't refuse. I'd have had to spend more than
that to get mine finished, so it was a no-brainer to buy the complete
car. It needed some work here and there to get it suitable to race,
but nothing major.

I'm a stereotypical long haired computer geek. When I'm not racing, I can usually
be found tinkering with a computer. I'm also a big fan of live music, and have seen
around 1000 bands in concert (mostly heavy metal).
